PARADIGM BROADCAST SERVICES -- 2006 to Present
Senior Engineer In Charge on mobile production units on remotes for ESPN, ComCast Sports and other networks. Originally hired to be the Engineer In Charge on one mobile unit, but was promoted to Senior EIC in 2007 when second truck was commissioned into service.
Achieved proficiency with broadcast switchers, graphics systems, score board data interfaces, computer controlled routers, under monitor displays and closed caption encoders.
Installed, tested, and certified many critical systems on second mobile unit.
Trained one EIC and three mobile unit engineers to competently engineer shows on the mobile units.
TIME WARNER MOBILE VIDEO PRODUCTIONS -- 2005 to 2006
Mobile Unit Engineer responsible for setup and configuration of critical systems to meet ESPN requirements to broadcast live college sports. Coordinate with uplink engineers to assure seamless transmission paths to ESPN.
Achieved proficiency with critical systems such Chyron Duet LEX, EVS LSM and Matrox clock and score unit used by ESPN.
MEDIA-COMM MOBILE PRODUCTIONS -- 2004 to 2005
Mobile Unit Engineer working Charlotte Bobcats NBA Basketball games. Park and power mobile unit. Supervise camera builds. Connect triax and coax feeds to other mobile units and Jumbo-Tron scoreboard. Troubleshoot and resolve problems reported by crew members. Inventory equipment, and load mobile unit.
WSOC TELEVISION -- 1995 to 2004
Satellite Uplink Engineer responsible for live multiple camera remotes with uplink truck covering major news stories, sports events, and hurricanes. Often utilizing microwave links from helicopters and other mobile units.
Won Loral SkyNet Perfect Uplinker Gold Award for exceptional performance.
